01Constitutional Law & Writ Jurisdiction

When a government department, regulator or public body acts beyond its powers, the Constitution gives the citizen a direct route to the court. We draft and argue writ petitions under Article 199 before the High Courts, and handle constitutional matters before the Federal Constitutional Court created by the 27th Amendment in 2025.

What we do

  • Writ petitions: certiorari, mandamus, prohibition, quo warranto and habeas corpus (Article 199)
  • Enforcement of fundamental rights (Articles 8 to 28)
  • Challenges to notifications, rules, tenders and regulatory orders
  • Matters before the Federal Constitutional Court, and constitutional questions arising in other proceedings
  • Preventive detention and liberty matters
  • Opinions on the constitutional validity of laws and policies

Principal law

  • Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 (as amended, incl. 26th & 27th Amendments)
  • High Court rules and orders of the relevant province

02Civil Litigation

Most civil disputes are won or lost on the pleadings and the evidence recorded at trial, and on limitation. We take a case from the legal notice through the plaint, interim injunction, framing of issues and evidence, and then through appeal, revision or second appeal where needed.

What we do

  • Suits for declaration, permanent and mandatory injunction
  • Specific performance of agreements to sell
  • Recovery of money and damages; summary suits under Order XXXVII

03Criminal Law & Bail

In criminal matters the first forty-eight hours often decide what follows. We act at every stage: before arrest, at the police station and before the magistrate, during trial, and in appeal before the High Court. We also represent complainants who need a case properly registered and prosecuted.
